MANSI CHAUDHRY is an attorney-at-law with a background in life sciences, biological sciences, biochemistry and herbal technology. She has skilled expertise among varied biological subjects, including biotechnology, stem cell technology, CRISPR, immunology, gene therapy, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, protein therapeutics, mycorrhizal technology and other related areas.
She is a registered Patent Agent and admitted as an Advocate with Bar Council of Delhi. She is an awardee of prestigious “Women-Scientist Scholarship Scheme WOS-C (KIRAN IPR) in Intellectual Property Rights granted by Patent Facilitating Centre, Technology Information Forecasting Assessment Council (TIFAC), Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
She has been in practice in the field of patents for more than a decade and has been involved in several important patent cases in India and abroad. She has an extensive experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications, providing strategic patent counseling, review of patent portfolios to identify the risks involved in the market and providing opinion on patentability, validity and freedom to operate issues. She is known for her outstanding management skills and had managed large patent portfolios of diverse technologies globally. She had managed a large patent renewal portfolio for foreign patent applications (almost in every country in the world) as a head of Patent Renewal Department in one of her previous engagements.
She actively participates in many international and national conferences and seminars and is regularly called upon as a faculty or speaker in several seminars, conferences, patents awareness workshops conducted by various forums in India and by various government agencies and private sector entities for training and advice on Intellectual Property laws.
Previously, she was associated with Subramaniam & Associates, Attorneys-at-law, for more than seven years with a substantial part thereof. She was also associated with two other highly reputed IP boutique firm and was the senior member in their patent team.
She is a member of the Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA).
